after the coronavirus pandemic affected the sports world to a great extent. A majority of the important national-level events were cancelled due to the pandemic. Finally, the Hockey India National Championships 2021 will start in March.

11th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship 2021 which will be held in Simdega, Jharkhand from March 10 to 18. The 11th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship 2021 will be held in Narwana district in Haryana from March 17 to 25. Both Simdega, Jharkhand and Narwana, Haryana are hosting a Hockey India National Championship for the first time.  The inaugural edition of the 1st Hockey India Junior Women Academy National Championship 2021 will be held from March 17 to 26 and 1st Hockey India Sub-Junior Women Academy National Championship 2021 from March 17 to 24 at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The competitions will restart in a new, restructured format that aims to boost athlete participation and develop the game in states, union territories, institutional units and academies.
