Ahmedabad: The third Test being played between India and England at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad has reached a turning point. England made a great comeback in the match in the first session of the second day of the match. Team India's 9th wicket has fallen on a total score of 144 runs. Ishant Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah are frozen at the crease. While Ashwin returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs. Joe Root sent him to the pavilion. This is the fourth wicket in the match by England's part-time bowler Joe Root. India have lost 5 wickets within 11 runs.

At one time India's score was 114 runs at the loss of 3 wickets, Washiganton Sundar and Akshar Patel have returned to the pavilion without opening an account. India's start on the second day has been very poor. In the first 45 minutes, Indian team's three wickets fell. Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant scored just 1 run, which caught by Ben Fox from Root. The opening batsman Rohit Sharma scored 66 runs out of LBW off Jack Leach.

On the first day of the third Test on Wednesday, England captain Joe Root won the toss and decided to bat first, but the English batsmen were scattered in front of the Indian spin bowlers and the entire team was all out by scoring 112 runs in the first inning. Axar Patel took six wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets from Team India. While the Indian bowlers performed brilliantly, the batsmen were also expected to perform better. In the third match, Team India's top batsmen proved to be a flop once again. Apart from Indian opener Rohit Sharma, no batsman could survive the crease. Be it Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara or Rishabh Pant all disappointed the audience.
