Team India continue to dominate in the ongoing four-match Test series against England 3rd Test match between the two teams is being played at the Narendra Modi. Local boy Axar Patel bagged a six-wicket haul on the first day of the Test match as India skittled Joe Root & Co. out for just 112 runs in their first innings.

Talking about the 'home advantage', Patel said that considering the wicket was a new one, it was same for both teams, however, the thousands of spectators who turned up at the stadium was the only home advantage in favour of the hosts. At the presser, he said, "It didn't look like home advantage. We were playing on the venue after almost 5 wickets. It was a new wicket so I didn't feel like we had the home advantage. Yes, Gujarati crowd made me feel that we had the home advantage else I feel it was same for both teams."

He further added, "I didn't expect to pick six wickets on Day 1 itself. But I was confident as I picked a 5-fer in the previous match and I am in good rhythm. Even with the pink ball, I can trouble the batsmen with my line and length and variation. That's what got me success."
