We all are excited for the festival of Holi. It enjoys a massive significance in Hinduism in Sanatan Dharma. According to the Panchang, Holika Dahan takes place on the Poornima of Shukla Paksha in the month of Phalgun. Holi is played on the next day of the Pratipada of Chaitra month. Holashtak takes place 8 days before Holi.  According to a popular belief no auspicious work is done during the 8 days of Holashtak. If someone does auspicious work in these days, then he may have to face problems. Holashtak ends with Holika Dahan.

Holika Dahan is done on the Poornima of Falgun month. This year Holika Dahan will be on March 07 and the festival of colors is on March 8. According to astrology, this year on the date of Holika Dahan, the shadow of Bhadra will remain from morning itself. It is said that auspicious works should be avoided during Bhadra Kaal. Holika Dahan’s Shubha Mahurat 2023:

According to the Hindu calendar, this year Holika Dahan will be done on March 07, 2023 and the hli will be played on 08 March.  The Shubhamahurat for Holika Dahan on March 07 is from 6.24 pm to 8.51 pm. The total duration of worship will be for 2 hours 27 minutes. The Mukha time of Bhadra will be from 2.58 pm to 5.06 pm on March 7.
