Amit Shah breaks silence on Ladakh dispute, says, 'No one can take an inch of India'

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing tension with China in Ladakh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Modi government is fully alert to save every inch of the country and no one can capture it. Shah also said that the government is taking all possible military and diplomatic steps to resolve tensions with Ladakh in China.

In response to the question, whether China has entered Indian territory, he told the media, "We are cautious about every inch of our territory, no one can occupy it. Our defence forces and leadership are capable of protecting the sovereignty and boundary of the country.” Amit Shah also said that the government is fully committed to the sovereignty and security of the country. In the context of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, he expressed confidence that the NDA would get a two-third majority.

Shah further said that Nitish Kumar will become the next CM of the state after the elections. He said that after the assembly elections in West Bengal next year, the government will change and BJP will form the government there. He said, "We feel that we will fight strongly in West Bengal and form the government."
