Home Minister Amit Shah visits Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Arunachal

Arunachal Pradesh: Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid a visit at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Narottam Nagar, Tirap district, during his two-day tour to Arunachal Pradesh. Along with Amit Shah, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju paid a visit to the Ashram.

The Home Minister visited the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram's golden jubilee celebrations. Shah will participate in a number of events and will dedicate a number of development projects in the state.

The Home Minister will attend public events, inaugurate various development projects, and interact with personnel from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), the Central Armed Police Forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs, who are deployed in the region to guard the country's borders and maintain internal security. On his first day in the state, the Home Minister will attend the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Ramakrishna Mission at Narottam Nagar in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district at 11.30 a.m. today (Saturday).

Later in the day, the Home Minister will lay the foundation stone for a 51-foot bronze monument of Bhagwan Parashuram in Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh's Lohit district. On the second day, Shah will meet with social organisations at 9.30 a.m. in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, before praying at the Golden Pagoda Temple nearby.

At 11 a.m. on Sunday, the Home Minister will attend a public meeting and dedicate several development projects in the Namsai area. Later that day, the Shah will meet with Army, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, Border Road Organization, and National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDLC) officials at Namsai to discuss security and development.
