The country's first BS6 two-wheeler Activa 125 is introduced in the market by Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India on September 11. The BS6 Honda Activa 125 also includes new features with the updated engine. Honda has also changed its look. The new scooter will replace the Activa 125 BS4 model.

For your information, let us know that the design of the new Activa with BS6 is basically the same as the BS4 model, but cosmetic updates have been done to give it a fresh look. The new model has chrome inserts on the front apron and side panels. It has new LED headlights and changes have been made in the design of the visor and apron, which gives a sharp look to the new Activa. Apart from this, a new front glove box has been given in the scooter for more space. Many new features have also been included in the new Activa 125. These include features such as noiseless starter system, idol start-stop system, external fuel filler cap, and near-light switch. The scooter has a side-stand-down indicator, with the feature that if the side is stand down, the scooter will not start. Apart from this, there is a new instrument cluster, in which other information including real-time mileage will be found.

According to media reports, a 124 cc, fuel-injected engine has been given in the new Activa. This engine generates 8.1 bhp power at 6,500rpm and 10.3 Nm peak torque at 5,000 rpm. Changes have been made to the internal components of the engine. Honda says that this new engine is more smooth and better. The engine is in line with BS6 emission norms. Honda claims that BS6 Honda Activa mileage is 10-13% higher than the BA4 model. It has an idle-stop system, which will automatically shut down the engine at traffic lights. The new Activa 3 is available in variants - Standard, Alloy and Deluxe. Their price is Rs 67490, Rs 70990 and Rs 74490 respectively. Delivery of this scooter is going to start from September 28.
