Between the first half of the current financial year, April to September, Activa has surpassed Splendor in terms of sales. Activa sales were 13,93,256 units in the first half, while Hero Splendor sold 13,70,138 units in the same period. Between April and September, Activa's sales were 23,118 units more than the Splendor.

Honda says that during this time every 5 minutes 5 new customers bought Activa scooters. On the other hand, the Splendor bike is far ahead of the Honda Activa scooter when it comes to the complete sales this year (January-September). There are 20,84,944 units of Splendor sold between January and September. During this time, Honda Activa sales were 19,60,038 units. Accordingly, the Activa is 1,24,906 units behind the Splendor in January-September sales.

It is to be noted that the Honda Activa is currently available in 4 different models. These include the standard Activa 5G, Activa 5G Limited Edition, Activa 125 and Activa Eye. The standard Activa 5G, Limited Edition and Activa have been given a 110 cc engine and the Activa 125 has a 124 cc engine.
