Honda Amaze of vehicle manufacturer Honda has achieved a new milestone in India. The compact sedan has sold 1 lakh units in India. The car was launched in India 13 months ago. On this occasion, the company offers a discount of up to Rs 42,000 on Amaze. Honda Amaze was launched in India on May 2018. Within three months of its launch, the car crossed the sales mark of 30,000 units. Within five months, 50,000 units of the car were sold in India. However, in the 11 months of its launch, 85,000 units were purchased by customers. which is the best sales in the auto industry during the recession.
Honda Amaze is available in four variants in India. These include E, S, V, and VX. Amaze's 4-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 90 PS of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 100 PS of maximum power and peak torque of 200Nm.
Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) recently launched the Special Ace edition of its Amaze in India. The Ace Edition top-grade VX variant is based on both diesel and petrol and is available in 3 color options - Radiant Red, Lunar Silver, and White Orchid Pearl. The Petrol variants of the Ace Edition range from Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 8.72 lakh. The diesel variants range from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Honda Amaze Ace Edition features black alloy wheels, a black trunk spoiler, ace edition branding with seat covers, front room lamps, black door Visor, door edge garnish and an Ace Edition emblem.
