Honda launched Honda Shine in India today. The bike has been launched with a new engine and upgrade, with a new 5-speed transmission and fuel-injected engine in the Honda Sign that comes with a BS6 engine. The New Generation Honda Shine with BS6 compliant engine is priced at Rs 67,857 ex-showroom in Delhi. The Honda Sine and Honda SP 125 have a similar engine. Honda Sign is the best selling 125cc motorcycle in India.

This bike comes in Rebel Red Metallic, Jenny Gray Metallic, Authentic Blue Metallic and Black in 4 color options. The company is also offering a special 6-year warranty package with the updated sign. This includes a 3-year standard warranty and a 3-year optional extended warranty. The bike delivers power to the wheels through a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The ground clearance and wheelbase of the 2020 Honda Sign 125 have been increased by 5mm and 19mm respectively.

The bike comes with new DC headlamps, integrated headlamp beam and passing switch. The bike seat is 27mm long. The bike gets 5 steps adjustable rear suspension and combi brake system (CBS). The new fuel injected 125cc engine generates more power and torque than the old Honda CB Shine. The new engine generates a power of 10.72 bhp at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.9Nm at 6,000rpm. The new BS6 compliant 125cc engine has enhanced smart power (eSP) with a silent starter. The company says that the bike is 14 percent more fuel efficient due to the new 125cc engine. Low-resistance tubeless tires have been fitted to the real wheel of the bike, reducing the energy loss by maintaining optimal grip.
