New Delhi: His wife Shalini Talwar has filed a domestic violence case against popular rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh (Hridesh Singh). The Tis Hazari court in Delhi has sought Honey Singh's response to the petition. The matter will now come up for hearing on August 28. Meanwhile, some social media posts by Shalini Talwar in the last few months have been going viral on social media.

In the last two months, Shalini has posted a number of posts on Instagram that point to domestic violence, husband's torture. On May 30, 2021, a quote was posted stating, "Emotional abuse can destroy one's identity and is psychologically and emotionally wrong.'' Shalini posted another similar post on June 24, 2021, saying, 'She was a cultured as long as she endured, became rude when she spoke.' At the same time, he wrote in the caption of his post that it does not matter which society you belong to, educated or illiterate. The only truth is that the plight of women is the same in every society.

She also posted an Instagram on July 20. In it, she wrote, "No one should ever forgive him for lying again and again, because it is indicative of his characterlessness, deception and dirty mentality.'' Shalini has also accused Honey Singh of having 'casual relationships' with several women. Shalini has also accused Honey Singh of assault and domestic violence.
