Protesters have fallen in Hong Kong as soon as China's National Security Act came into force. Meanwhile, a protestor has also been arrested in Hong Kong. After coming to strict action, the Hong Kong Police has threatened the protesters with the National Security Act and warned them to take strict action. The first arrest was made during this law. Beijing imposed the controversial National Security Act on Tuesday. With the enactment of this law, an independent Hong Kong became a subordinate under the Chinese Communist Party. On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the British colony, after the law came into existence, Hong Kong protesters gathered in large numbers and took out an annual rally.

Police's attitude against the protesters was quite strict. Even after the police has already banned the rally, the protesters took out the rally, after which for the first time the police cited the new law to the protesters. They also arrested a person who gave knowledge of freedom. While stopping the protesters, the Hong Kong police also had a purple banner in their hand which clearly stated that the slogans you are chanting or the slogans are being written by the people, it is considered a crime under the National Security Act.

In Hong Kong, Beijing-backed leader Carrie Lam said at a flag-off event on the 23rd anniversary of the handover that the law is most important after the withdrawal of Chinese rule. This was unavoidable for Hong Kong's stability. An urgent need was being felt for this. Lam further explained that this is the same port where the British returned Hong Kong to China 23 years ago. The last colony of Britain was Hong Kong.
