In a village in Kanda, the pregnant teenager was killed by his own father by publicizing the matter of suicide. While disclosing this issue, the police have given information that in the post-mortem report it has been confirmed that the teenager was 16 weeks pregnant. The culprit has confessed his crime and the police has arrested him. The police is still investigating whose child was in the teenager's womb. To know this, the police will now start taking DNA samples of some people. The offender was presented in court on Sunday.

According to the information received, SP Rachita Juyal started the investigation of the issue in his knowledge. On July 9, the teenager's mother made a statement and filed a case against some unknown people in Kanda police station for raping her minor daughter and encouraging her to commit suicide, based on which the police station in Kanda under Section 376/306 of IPS and A case was registered in 5 (L) / 6 Poxo Act.

On the order of SP Rachita Juyal, CO Kapkot Sangeeta and Police Station Officer Kanda Prahlad Singh along with the police team went to the spot on July 9 and with the permission of DM, the body was buried for further investigation. District Mobile Forensic Unit Almora collected evidence from the spot. The post-mortem report has revealed that the teenager has been strangled to death, the police started investigating the teenager's family and neighbors. After which the police tightened up on suspicion of the father's words, then he agreed to kill the daughter by strangling in the fear of local people.

In this issue, the punishment was extended by the police under Section 302 of murder and Section 201 of hiding evidence and giving false information. Before this, the police team had taken the culprit's father into custody on Saturday near Gangnath temple on Jethai-Bageshwar road. The police team taken into custody included CO Sangeeta, Thana head Kanda Prahlad Singh, Constable Ashok Kumar, Ashok Kumar II, Bhuvan Prasad.
