Madhubani: Some criminals robbed Rs 18 lakh from a collection agent in Madhubani, Bihar. The incident took place near Banbhag bridge. The miscreants carried out this incident of robbery at 8 pm on Friday night. Police said that Dhananjay Kumar Das, a wholesaler and collection agent of Purnia Gulabbagh, was returning to Purnia with cash from the shops. Due to this, two criminals who were ambushed on the way stopped them near Banbhag.
Then two other criminals came from behind riding a bike and showed Dhananjay a pistol and snatched the bag full of money from him. Then all the four criminals fled from the spot. Victim Dhananjay lodged its report with the police. Thereafter, the police have started the search for the culprits by registering a case. At the same time, in Bhiwani, Haryana, two motorcycle-borne criminals entered the grocery shop and snatched Rs 5000 from the shop owner at the point of a pistol. The matter was caught in the CCTV camera installed inside the shop.
On the complaint of the victim shopkeeper, the Loharu police station started action by registering a case against the criminals. In the complaint given to the same police, businessman Sanjay told that two boys riding a motorcycle came to his shop, one of whom was wearing a helmet and the other had covered his mouth with a towel. It is alleged that both the boys demanded money kept in the wallet from the businessman at the tip of the pistol and took the shopkeeper to the back of the shop and took out the amount of Rs 5000 from the pocket of the businessman with the help of a pistol. After committing the crime, both the criminals fled towards Bhiwani.
