There are many people all over the world who are famous for their strange acts. Cyclone Amphan which caused chaos in the southern part of West Bengal destroyed many houses. But there was also a house which did not budge. We are talking about Linus Kendall and Rupsa Nath's house. Both of them have built a beautiful house in Baruapur which stood in its place facing the cyclone Amphan.

In today's time, everyone makes their houses strong with cement, mud, bamboo. Because of this, due to the cyclone, all the houses collapsed, but their house remained there.

This house of Swedish-Bengali couple is famous as 'Kancha-Paka' and the couple's beautiful house is made of Reinforced Concrete Frame (RCC), Cemented Paving, Bamboo, Thatch and Clay. Indian artisans and architect Laurent Fournier built this house. This couple says that 'this technique has been adopted by the Rajamisri of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for the last decades'. The couple has also built a garden near the house, in which they grow fruits and vegetables.
