Mumbai: Anant Ambani, younger son of Reliance Industries owner Mukesh Ambani, has always been an inspiration for those who are worried about their obesity. Anant Ambani, who was suffering from asthma at one time, had lost 118 kg. His mother Nita Ambani had told in an interview how he had stayed away from home in Jamnagar for 500 days and had lost weight with strict exercise and diet plan.

In these 500 days, Anant Ambani had made his diet plan very strict and followed it with all sincerity. The sugar level in his diet was zero and he used to take essential protein and diet. Not only this, he used to take great care about calories. His trainer Vinod Channa had told in an interview that Anant used to take care that he should consume 1200 to 1400 calories in a day. He was very strict about diet. He kept vegetables, sprouts, cheese and pulses in his diet. This means that fibre, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals in their diet were in abundance.

Nutrition should be taken care of if you also want to control your weight. Ambani used to run 21 km every day. He used to do yoga and exercise related to cardio. He used to exercise 5 to 6 hours every day. Although it is not possible for everyone to exercise for such a long time, but inspiration can be taken from Anant Ambani.
