You may have often seen scenes of some young girls and boys in Hindi cinema saying something in a case with the channel's identity sticker or ID on Mike in hand and the channel's identity sticker or ID on The Mike. It seems quite effective. These artists glorifying the media in this way thrills you. Yes, earlier, where only the publisher medium, that is, the print media, existed and news was published from All India Radio through radio, now its shape has changed. Now it is a period of information transmission. There are many means of disseminating information and news.

In these, the scope of electronic media has increased. With this, the electronic world has entered the digital age. Due to which people get information on mobile, not only this, people get information through the internet. At present there are many news portals that broadcast their news on the internet. However, the reliability in this medium is low at the moment. But with the advent of the media, which is called the fourth pillar of democracy, a new era has begun.

If we talk about the beginning of the media in India, it originated in the form of the dialogue of Narada Muni in the earliest period and then the information that the Raja Maharajas have pasted in their states, but what we can see with the introduction of print media in the modern era is believed to be from the pamphlets brought by the British and revolutionaries. During this period, the revolutionaries innovated by opposing the British Raj system. So at the same time, public awareness was also created about some social system. Journalism was a mission at such a time. In which the spirit of national awakening and socialism was seen. But after that, the media took a professional stand. In fact, it is not right to completely misjudge the media in this case. Because it was easy to open a printing press in that period.

Then there were many printing presses for the revolution. But in modern times, a large investment in print media and electronic media is required. Now that newspapers are published in institutions, the locations of electronic media and print media have come to be called media houses. Where there is a large capital. In such a situation, their management and operation falls into the hands of industrialists. When the large-scale capital is taken up to run these institutions, industrialists associate their interest and the double return of capital from these institutions.  Let us know that on May 30, Hindi Journalism Day is celebrated in India. It was on this day in 1826, when Pandit Couple Kishore Shukla started publishing the Hindi newspaper 'Udanta Martand' before Calcutta. The name 'Udanta Martand' was an indicator of the social conditions of that time, which means 'News Sun'. Journalism in India was started by Pandit Yugal Kishore Shukla.
