In the same case, the brother of the actress Shovik Chakraborty is also seen getting trapped. Reports have revealed that Shovik had contact with drug dealers. Basit Parihar was supposed to come to Shovik's house. Basit was connected to Shovik for almost two years. Basit has gone to Shovik's house several times.
Actually, Basit met Shovik at a football club in Bandra, where Shovik used to play football. At the same time, Kaiz Ibahim used to come to play football, Basit started his friendship dealing with Shovik during the practice at the football club. After which Basit started supplying drugs to Shovik, and then the relation became so strong that he started coming home.

Zaid, Basit and Abbas used to carry a consignment of drugs from Sohail, a big drugs mafia in Mumbai.
