Famous Bollywood actor Govinda was shot in the leg some time ago in an accident. This incident happened when he was cleaning his gun by mistake and the bullet went off. After being shot, Govinda was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. Many celebrities visited him in the hospital to know about his recovery.

Recently, actor Anupam Kher met Govinda's elder brother Kirti Kumar and inquired about his younger brother Govinda's health. Anupam Kher has shared a video on social media mentioning this meeting.

Anupam Kher gave Govinda's health update

Sharing the video, Anupam Kher wrote, "Encounter in the park: I am very happy to meet Kirti Kumar ji after a very long time. Kirti ji has directed one of my favorite films 'Hatya'. We talked about many issues including Govinda's leg injury. Happy to know that Govinda is feeling better now and his recovery is going in the right direction."

Anupam Kher also said that he also discussed about the old times spent with Govinda and the cinema of the 90s. They also talked about the importance of kindness in life and planned to meet soon with a film script.

Reasons for shooting

According to reports, this accident happened when Govinda was preparing to go to Kolkata. During that time, he was cleaning his gun, when accidentally a bullet was fired and hit his leg. Immediately after this incident, he was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha had told that the actor's health is much better now than before and he was discharged from the hospital within 2-3 days and came home.
