How Suzlon Secures 402 MW Wind Energy Orders from Juniper Green Energy

Mumbai: Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group announced on Wednesday that it has secured new orders totaling 402 MW for wind energy projects from Juniper Green Energy. According to a statement from the company, Suzlon will be installing a total of 134 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, each with a rated capacity of 3 MW, for both projects at the Suzlon proposed site at Fatehgarh in Rajasthan.

Under the agreement, Suzlon will be responsible for supplying the wind turbines and executing the project, including foundation, erection, and commissioning. Additionally, Suzlon will undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services after the projects are commissioned.

"Juniper Green Energy has been a long-term, repeat customer for us, and we are delighted to partner with them again. This order helps us expand our footprint in Rajasthan," said Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, in the statement.

He further added, "The electricity generated from these projects will contribute to the Rajasthan government's vision of providing green energy to the people of the state. Projects of this scale can provide electricity to 3.31 lakh households and reduce 13.07 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions annually."

Naresh Mansukhani, Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Green Energy Private Ltd., emphasized, "Suzlon's unmatched technology and comprehensive EPC capabilities help us fulfill our vision of building a sustainable India through cost-effective, Made in India renewable energy solutions."
