This information has been confirmed by Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan. Revenue Ajay Bhushan has said that the people of India will soon be able to pay taxes through UPI. With this, the government will share information about this process soon. Many experts believe that people will be able to pay less amount of tax with a mobile wallet.
Netbanking is the payment of tax - Right now people get the option of netbanking and debit card for payment of tax. On the other hand people have to go to the bank and pay the tax. Let us tell you that tax is paid through NetBanking of Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, PNB and SBI Banks. Let us know how you can pay taxes through NetBanking. To pay online tax, you must first go to this link https://www.tin-nsdl.com. After going to the page, you will see the option of tax payment including PAN application. Here you have to click on Pay Tax Online. After doing so, you will have to click on Continue.
Here you will see the tax information network of the Income Tax Department, in which different types of invoices will be seen. Here you have to select the challan number ITNS 280 (Payment of Income Tax and Corporation Tax). Now proceed by selecting the assessment year in Challan 280. As soon as you move forward, you will see three options, within the financial year, select section 100 to pay advance tax. If you want to pay tax after the completion of the financial year, select Self-Assessment of Taxes. If notice is received, click on Tax on regular assessment under section 400. After selecting one of these options, you have to fill the PAN number, address, phone number, bank name, account number, e-mail ID and captcha code. You have to enter all the information with caution, after doing so you will have to choose the option of net banking to pay tax. After clicking on NetBanking option, you have to choose the tax amount. You will get an invoice after the tax is deposited. There will be many tax related information in this challan. This challan will serve as proof of your tax payment.
