Howdy Modi: Congress slams PM Modi's for his slogan 'Abki Baar, Trump Sarkar' in the US

New Delhi: PM Modi is in America these days. During this, he addressed the 'Howdy Modi' event held in Houston city of Texas province yesterday. Addressing the program, PM Modi gave a slogan after which there is an uproar in Indian politics. The main opposition party, Congress, termed this slogan as a campaign for Trump, calling it a violation of India's foreign policy. Congress leader Anand Sharma has tweeted that the Prime Minister should remember that he is not the star campaigner of the US election.

The Congress leader said in a series of successive tweets that "you (PM Modi) should not forget that you have gone to America as our Prime Minister and not as the star campaigner of the US election." Addressing the Howdy Modi program, PM Modi said that "we are well connected with President Trump in India and for the candidate trump I would say 'this time Trump government.'

Actually, the politics of the slogan of 'Abki Bar, Trump Sarkar' has also got hot because the Presidential elections are going to be held in America next year.
