New Delhi:- Computer maker HP recently launched a number of new gaming products in India, including HP Omen Transcend 16 and Victus 16 laptops, 27-inch HyperX gaming monitors, and HyperX Cloud II Core wireless gaming headsets. We got hands-on experience with these newly launched products, so here are our first impressions. 

The HP Omen Transcend 16 Gaming Laptop has a starting price of $1,59,999 in India and is powered by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 series graphics card and a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor. At 19.9 mm thick and weighing less than 2.1 kg, it is considered the thinnest and lightest notebook from HP. 

This laptop has only one color option: Shadow Black. It has a 16-inch WQXGA IPS display with 240 Hz and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display brightness is up to 400 nits and the response time is 7ms. You get a full-sized backlit keyboard.

The Omen Transcend 16 features 1TB PCIe (Gen4) NVMe M.2 SSD storage and 16GB DDR5 RAM. It has a wealth of ports including 2 Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, 3 USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone and microphone combo jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an AC charging port. The HP Omen Transcend 16 has a 97 Wh battery. Other notable features include a 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual speakers with Bang & Olufsen audio. My laptop came pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

HP Omen 16 starts at Rs 1,04,999 and can be configured with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 series graphics cards and 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700 processors. Again, this laptop is only available in his one-color option of Shadow Black. It features a 16.1-inch Full HD 165Hz IPS display with a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a response time of 7ms. The Omen 16 features a full-sized backlit keyboard. The laptop comes with a 1 TB M.2 SSD and up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM for storage.

The Omen 16 has a USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone and microphone combo jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an AC power port. The Omen 16 comes with an 83 Wh battery. Other notable features include a 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual speakers with Bang & Olufsen audio.
