Huawei has once made a mark in the smartphone market through its flagship phone. But due to US sanctions, the chip supply of which was cut has come as a big shock. Now, after reportedly cutting its smartphone production by 60 per cent in 2021, Huawei is fully ready for entry into the electric vehicle industry.

The Chinese giant technology giant has recently Hybrid SUV its second electric car AIOT M5 in China. This car can run both electricity and fuel. The car that has a unique operating system developed by Huawei is called HarmonyOS. This system is going to act as an alternative to Android and Windows for Huawei. The speciality of this is that this system can connect smart cars to various Internet of Things (IOT) devices and gadgets.

Excellent customer response: Within the first 5 days, more than 6,000 bookings have been revealed for this car. AIOT's first luxury smart electric SUV M5 has been jointly developed by Huawei and another Chinese brand Seres.

Variants and Power: According to reports, Aito m5 is getting one or 2 electric motors depending on the variant for power. There has been a rear-wheel-drive version with a maximum power of 204 hp. While the option of a 4-wheel drive with a power output of 224 hp is available. The 4-wheel drive is estimated to generate an overall power output of 428 hp.

Range and Speed: Huawei Aito M5 also has a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine generating 125 hp. However, it has served as a generator to recharge only 40 kWh battery packs. The company claims that a total driving range of 1,195 km has been provided SUV. It also claims that the SUV is running at a rapid pace of 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds.
