Huawei postpones launching its OS to replace Android

The development of a new operating system requires time and careful processing of even the most insignificant, at first glance, details. Only from this, you can achieve stable work and not disappoint users. Therefore, its release simply cannot be spontaneous. One of Huawei's current employees told about this on the CNBC channel, involved in working on the Hongmeng platform, which is to replace Android in the foreseeable future.

According to a CNBC interlocutor, the launch of the Hongmeng operating system will only take place in the fourth quarter of 2019. This means that it is not worth waiting for her in September. In the best case, the platform will be ready for release only by November, and then only for China. Users from other countries of the world will be able to use Hongmeng on their smartphones only in the second quarter of 2020.

When Hongmeng comes out

Despite the fact that the Huawei employee did not disclose the reasons for the delayed launch, guess what's up, it's easy. First of all, the Chinese need to optimize the operating system for users who live outside of China. And since the OS use model in the Middle East is seriously different from how we use it, it may require an additional few months. In the end, companies need to deploy their own application directory and cloud storage.

But there is another version. It is that Huawei is cynically relying on the fact that it will be able to return the US adherence and yet will restore the right to use Android and Google services without any restrictions. In any case, Huawei will have another three months to complete this, and for the time being the company may well develop a plan to convince the US to mitigate sanctions or completely abolish them.
