Patna: In Bihar's Ara, a husband and wife have taken a surprise step. The soldier on duty in the Indian Army made a video call to his wife and shot himself with his service revolver. After the husband committed suicide, the wife also sprinkled kerosene oil on her body and set herself on fire. The woman was badly injured. She was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Where in view of the serious condition of the woman, the doctor has referred her to Patna PMCH for better treatment. On the other hand, the brother of the deceased, who was troubled by two incidents in the family, suffered a heart attack and he also had to be admitted to the hospital. The whole incident is from Peianiya village in the Udwantnagar police station area.
The deceased jawan was identified as Mahesh Singh who was currently posted as a hero in the Hyderabad 16 Bihar Regiment. His wife's name is Gudiya Devi. People around, including the family, are shocked after the case. As soon as the news of the case was received, the elder brother of the deceased jawan, Jaynath, suffered a heart attack. He has also been admitted to a hospital in Patna for treatment. In this connection, the family members of the jawan are refusing to say anything in front of the camera at the moment. The family is also wondering what led to a quarrel between the two husband and wife over which such a big incident was carried out. The case is now being investigated by the police.
