AHMEDABAD: A shocking case of honeytrap has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In fact, the young man befriended a woman on a chatting app here. After that, the two started talking on the phone, however, after a few days, suddenly the woman called him that the husband had gone out of the house and he should come home. In such a situation, the young man reached the woman's house and the two had a relationship in the bedroom. However, soon after, he realized that something was going wrong. After that, two men came there and demanded Rs 5 lakh by threatening to frame him on the charge of rape. In such a situation, he also gave Rs 2.70 lakh, however, after making more demands, the youth has given a complaint to the Chandrakheda police.

In fact, the 30-year-old victim, who runs a shop in Asarwa in Ahmedabad, is a resident of the Ambawadi area. Just a few days ago, on the Kawek-Kawek app, he became friends with a woman named Kavita and after that, the two started talking on Instagram and WhatsApp. A few days ago, Kavita sent him the location of her house and called the young man to her house. In such a situation, the young man also went to her house and returned after drinking coffee.

A few days after all this happened, Kavita told her, "Tomorrow my husband is going to Surat. I'll be alone at home. I want to meet you." The young man also went to meet her. After that, the two sat for a while and talked. Meanwhile, the woman, who described herself as Kavita, closed the door and took the young man to the bedroom. Here she took off her clothes and asked the boy to have a relationship with her. The two made a connection. During this time, suddenly two people came there and started beating the boy. They threatened to implicate him in the rape case and then a third person came who described himself as a lawyer by giving his name as Ramesh.

After that, they took the mobile phone of the youth and asked him to transfer Rs 5 lakh. However, when the youth said that he did not have Rs 5 lakh, he asked to give Rs 70,000 for the time being and demanded the amount in instalments. In such a situation, the victim gave 70 thousand rupees. At the same time, even after giving Rs 2.70 lakh, when they kept demanding money, the victim went to the police and gave a complaint. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
