This case comes up from Madhya Pradesh Gwalior where due to family quarrel, on Sunday, a person shot his wife with a pistol first and then shot himself with the same pistol. On receiving information about this matter, the police reached the spot and after a forensic examination of the dead bodies were sent for postmortem. According to the police, both were married 5 years ago. In this case, Municipal Superintendent of Police of Madhagunj Police Station area Hemant Tiwari said, "The incident is of 12 Bigha Colony of Madhaganj area. Here Satendra Chauhan (29), son of RS Chouhan, who retired from the army, lived with his wife Anshu Chauhan (25) and 4-year-old daughter Anshika.
Tired of harassment; woman commits suicide
According to information, the police got the news of this incident from Satendra Chauhan's father-in-law Abhiraj Singh Bhadauriya at around 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and told that, on receipt of the information, the police immediately reached the spot and inside a room Satendra and his wife Anshu's blood-soaked body found dead and the deceased Satendra had a pistol in his hand and an empty bullet lying nearby. As per the sources, Satendra first murdered his wife Anshu and then shot himself from same pistol and is likely to be a fight between the two for some reason, which caused this incident. The forensic team has investigated the occasion and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

Further, Satendra's father-in-law Abhiraj Singh Bhadoria told, "When I called the daughter around 12 o'clock, my granddaughter Anshika picked up. She told that the parents are in the room and the pistol is also there. When they reached there, the lock of the house was closed. When we opened the lock with the help of some people, the bodies of the daughter and son-in-law were lying inside." He further said," This pistol used in the incident was a licensee and there was no reason why they could commit suicide. Sometimes there were small quarrels between them."
