Deepa told the police that Jitendra was a habitual alcoholic. Deepa told that Jitendra used to beat her badly every day. After this he used to give physical torture also. He was interrupted many times, but Jitendra was not deterring from his antics. Deepa told the police that under the influence of alcohol, Jitendra used to have physical relations with her many times in an unnatural way. The accused wife told that even on the night of March 21, she came under the influence of alcohol and started beating her as soon as she entered the house. Not only this, he also started doing obscene acts in front of the girls.

When she could not bear it, she first thought of committing suicide, but then she thought of her two daughters, then killed her husband in the night itself. To kill her husband, Deepa mixed 4 sleeping pills in her vegetable and fed her. When he fell into a deep sleep, he strangled her husband by pressing his mouth and nose in the night itself. After that, he brought a knife from the kitchen and hit him on the head, due to which he lost his life.
