The Delage D12 hybrid hypercar is a distinctive-looking racing vehicle with a visual appearance that combines the design of a fighter jet aeroplane and a Formula One racer. The Speedster and F1 canopies, which both result in open-top driving and cost $190,000, are the other two canopy alternatives available for the vehicle. Customers can purchase both versions at a discounted price of $260,000, according to the business.

Instead of a closed canopy like fighter jets, the front of the speedster variant's automobile is attached with a tiny windscreen. A tiny wind deflector is added by the F1 upgrade. Delage asserts that the D12 hybrid hypercar has the same adaptability with two new roof options.

Overall, the D12 features a striking and outrageous design as well as an outrageous seating arrangement. The driver and passenger are seated side by side, giving the hypercar a look like a fighter plane. The cockpit for the driver and the nose part of the automobile looks to have been inspired by the Formula One race car. Significant visual variations are also seen. Unlike the open wheels used by Formula One drivers, these have covered wheels.

The car's look is outrageous enough to draw attention, but its powertrain components are equally fascinating. A normally aspirated V12 engine that has been hybridised and can produce 1,100 horsepower at its peak powers the hybrid vehicle. The Club version has a maximum power output of 1,010 hp. The Club variant weighs 1,310 kg, 90 kg less than the GT variant. An eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with the V12 engine.

The automobile says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 2.4 seconds. Delage is certain that it can also break the Nurburgring lap record. The D12 has been tested and developed by the business at the French Formula One track Magny-Cours. Delage has not stated a start date for the manufacture or delivery of the vehicle.
