Hyderabad: A minor girl was gang-raped from Hyderabad in Telangana. The incident took place in the Dabirpur area. Two accused, Syed Naimath Ahmed and Syed Ravish Ahmed Mehdi, have been arrested for allegedly raping a minor at a hotel after drugging her. The accused drugged the minor in the OYO room and raped her for two days. The victim is a 14-year-old girl who was recovered from near the Mahatma Gandhi bus stand.

The police informed the media about the incident on Thursday (September 15, 2022). According to police, Syed Naimath Ahmed (26) and Syed Ravish Ahmad Mehdi (20), both residents of Sha Colony in Dabirpur, have confessed to their crimes during interrogation. Both of them have been sent to judicial custody after being produced in a local court. According to reports, on September 13, 2022, the mother of the 14-year-old girl lodged a missing complaint at the Dabirpur police station.

The complainant told the police that her 14-year-old daughter had left home at around 7.45 pm on Monday (September 12, 2022) to get medicines, but did not return. She suspected that her daughter had been kidnapped. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case of kidnapping under Section 363 of the IPC and started investigating. Police Commissioner Mirchowk G Prasada Rao told the media that the victim has stated in her statement that she was taken by Syed Naimath Ahmed and Syed Ravish Ahmed Mehdi Srijana to stay in Hotel (OYO) and Three Castles Deluxe Lodge (OYO), where the two accused raped her by giving her intoxicating tablets.
