HYDERABAD: A dead  body of an unidentified woman was seen in a plastic bag in the Tukkuguda area on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Wednesday, April 12

The body was found under the limits of Pahadi Shareef Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. It is suspected by the police that the woman was murdered after rape about 3 days ago.

Some locals informed police about a suspected plastic bag lying on Tukkuguda-Srisailam highway. Police rushed the spot and opened the bag to find a woman's body inside.  Police suspect that the woman was raped and strangulated to death, however, the body was later shifted for autopsy.

Police were trying to identify the victim based on the missing complaints received in and around the city. Inspector Kashi Vishwanath said they have taken up the investigation after registering a case.

In a  similar case, earlier on March 15, it was reported that a dead body of a woman aged between 50 and 52 was found wrapped at her home in a plastic bag in Lalbagh Peru Compound in Mumbai.
