Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police has started taking action on school buses and vans that do not comply with traffic rules. The Hyderabad Traffic Police launched a special operation and searched vehicles carrying school children. The campaign, which began on June 12, has so far taken action on 2944 school buses and vans. In addition, an invoice for 929 autos has also been deducted. Additional Commissioner Anil Kumar informed that we have launched this special drive to ensure the safety of school children after the summer vacation.
"We have taken action on school buses and vans that do not comply with the rules. We will continue our campaign. On the other hand, a person has shared a screenshot of the Telangana police's e-challan website in a tweet showing six pending invoices in the name of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner. However, GHMC has paid the invoice. At the same time, your drivers are instructed to follow traffic rules."
A large number of road accidents occur every year due to oversight of traffic rules. Many people die in it. Even after all this, people are negligent in observing traffic rules. The Hyderabad Police is running a mandatory campaign to teach such people a lesson and follow traffic rules. This is why a large number of invoices are being deducted.
