Hyundai Motor today its SUV car 'Alcazacar' for this car the company received over 11,000 bookings. The company claimed that the company earlier received overwhelming bookings of 4000 in just 10 days. A month after its launch, that number has climbed to 11,000. Commenting on bookings, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, "Hyundai Alcazar has received an overwhelming response from customers with over 11 000 Bookings received in less than a month since its launch. We are truly humbled and grateful to our customers."
The company has already sold 5600 units of Alcazar in the country and it is planning to increase its production because the demand has peaked up. Engine options on the new Hyundai Alcazar will include both petrol and diesel options. The 2.0-litre petrol unit churns out 157 bhp and 191 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter diesel belts out 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai offers an average of 14.5 km on the petrol manual version, and 14.2 kmpl on the petrol automatic. The diesel model, on the other hand, claims a fuel efficiency of 20.4 kmpl while the automatic version returns 18.1 kmpl.
