Hyundai is working on the new version of its Creta Mid-SUV. The company is expected to introduce it during the 2020 Auto Expo. At times, it has been seen as ix25 in international markets during testing, which looks more premium and larger. Hyundai may also launch the Sport edition of its Creta. The design of Hyundai Creta Sport for India may get a slightly different look. The Hyundai Creta Sport edition features an all-black hexagen grille with an all-black paint theme, black outer rear view mirrors, black roof-mounted spellers, black roof rails, all black 17-inch alloy wheels and gloss black bumpers to give Creta a more sporty appeal. The cabin can also feature black seats and sport door sills with an all-black theme. Hyundai is offering a new BlueMedia infotainment system that comes with support from Digital TV, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The rest of the features can remain the same as wireless chargers, sunroof.

If the powertrain is delivered in the international market, hyunai Creta Sport has a 2.0-litre DVVT 16V flex-fuel petrol engine. The engine produces 156hp of power and 187.31Nm of torque. On the other hand, if it is ethanol powered, it will give maximum power of 166hp and torque 210 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, the engine did not make its way into India as a cost and Hyundai will deliver its 1.6-litre diesel engine in India with a manual and automatic gearbox option.
