Hyudai's Creta is doing quite well in the compact SUV segment in the Indian market. Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched its Creta Sports Edition. The company has launched this before the launch of Kia Seltos. Under the Special Edition, it has been upgraded with several cosmetic changes. The petrol variant is priced at Rs 12.78 lakh, which goes up to Rs 14.13 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The Sports Edition is priced at around Rs 60,000 more than the Standard SX trim.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition is available only with a manual version 1.6-litre engine. The SUV is also offered two color options - Phantom Black and Polar White with contrast roof, for which an additional Rs 11,000 will be paid. As a new upgrade, Creta's sports edition features smoked projector headlamps, dark finished chrome for grille, brushed silver roof rails and Fox skid plates. Also blacked out colors are provided on ORVMs. The rear splinter and chrome exhaust tips are also sporty look.
For your information, the Cabin of the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition features Creta black fabric seats with an all-black finish, which has contrast stitching. It also features a leather-mounted steering wheel, steering wheel and gear lever boot, silver bezels for AC vents and an electric sunroof. Also, the special edition based on the top SX trim features auto climate control, Apple CarPlay with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Android Auto, wireless charging, cruise control, ABS with dual airbags, etc.
