Hyundai is going to launch its Grand i10 Nios in the Indian market on August 20. However, the company has started taking pre-bookings for Rs 11,000. The Grand i10 Nios will be sold along with the existing second-generation Grand i10 and the BS6 engine. The company has introduced pictures of the Grand i10 Nios. Hyundai will bring down its Grand i10 Nios to five variants – Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz Dual Tone, and Asta, as in the regular Grand i10. However, Hyundai will not opt for AMT in even the top variants of its Grand i10.

The current model of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been provided with a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol and a 1.2-liter CRDi diesel engine. At the moment, it is not known whether the company will tune its engine, but these engines are believed to be BS6 ready. Both the engines will come with a 5-speed manual and automatic manual transmission (AMT) option in the Grand i10 Nios. The same unit is found in the Hyundai Santro. The Grand i10 Nios Petrol AMT will be available in two trims – Magna and Sportz.
