The vehicle manufacturer, Hyundai is going to launch its new generation i10, the Grand i10 Nios, for its customers, on August 20. The company will sell the Grand i10 Nios in India as well as the Grand i10 in India and we hope the company can position it between Santro and Grand i10. On the other hand, we hope the company can take it off with the BS6 engine. Hyundai has started booking this hatchback and we have a lot of information about its colors, engines and transmission options. The company is likely to keep its starting price at Rs 5 lakh, which can go up to Rs 7 lakh in the top-end diesel model.
According to media reports, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and a 1.2-litre CRDi diesel engine. However, no information about the power output is currently available. The company is believed to be tuning its power. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual and automatic manual transmission (AMT). The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Petrol AMT will be available in two trims – Magna and Sportz. However, the diesel will be delivered to the AMT in the Sportz trim.
For your information, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be launched in about 10 variants and the carmaker will deliver 7 variants in the petrol variant and 3 variants in the diesel variant. The base model era will then be followed by Magna, Sportz and Top Range Asta. The Sportz petrol will be given a dual-tone trim. While Hyundai says that most of the demand will be more petrol than diesel, there are different variants of the petrol variants.
