The most awaited Hyundai i20 petrol CVT automatic has arrived at the dealership. As per the reports, the price of the new alternative has been leaked starting at ₹ 7.04 lakh.
According to the confirmation given by the dealers, the i20 CVT will be offered in two trims that is Magna and Asta. The recent price of the two according to the ex-showrooms of India is slated at ₹ 8.16 lakh. In February 2018, the updated version of Hyundai i20 facelift has arrived in the country. The upgraded version has been launched at the Auto Expo 2018 with cosmetic changes and new features. While the CVT version was also in the offerings which have been scheduled for launch in May 2018.
According to the reports in NDTV, the new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) restores the 4-speed torque converter on the predecessor that was paired with a 1.4-litre petrol engine. It also comes mated to the 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 83 bhp on offer. Associated with the petrol manual though, the all-new Hyundai i20 CVT is more overpriced by about ₹ 1 lakh.
The new Hyundai i20 CVT's price remains competing in the division and underprices the automatic modifications of the Honda Jazz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno. With the reputation of automatics increasing, we do think the i20 CVT will attract the attention of quite a few inherent buyers.
