Hyundai Motors has introduced an electronic double-decker bus in South Korea's capital Seoul. This bus has been fully designed by Hyundai. This bus has also been supported by the South Korean government. With the help of this bus, efforts will be made to improve traffic conditions in the city. This bus was introduced in South Korea, the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Technology Fair.

This electronic double-decker bus has been developed by Hyundai in 18 months. At least 70 passengers can travel on this bus. 11 passengers can travel on the first floor and the rest of the 2nd floor. That means it can carry 50 percent more people than just a regular bus.

This bus will be used for public transport. There will also be 2 wheelchairs on this bus. ByoungWoo Hwang, head of the Commercial Vehicle Advanced Engineering team of Hyundai Motors, said, "Double Decker Electric Bus is an eco-friendly vehicle that has been optimized for global eco-friendly trends. This not only increases the quality of the air but will also improve the traffic system by caring more passenger. 

This Hyundai bus has a 384 kWh Watercouled polymer battery. Which can set 300 km apart with 70 passengers. This battery can be charged from zero to 100 percent in 72 minutes. It is just 12,990 mm long and 3,995 mm high. To protect the passengers, this bus has given many features such as Vehicle Dynamic Control System and Lane Keeping Assist. This type of bus is expected to be launched in India in the future.
