In India, Hyundai Motor India Limited has collaborated with ALD Automotive India, an automotive leasing and fleet management company, to offer a new service to its customers in the country. Under the purview of this newly formed partnership, Hyundai will start offering customers the option to lease a Hyundai car instead of buying one. This will enable the brand to reach a wider customer base, which includes working professionals, salaried individuals, and even small and medium enterprises who will now have an alternative to buying a car in India. At first, Hyundai's leasing service will be available only in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

Under this collaboration with ALD, lease services will be available on all Hyundai cars in India. Customers will be offered monthly rental plans and will not be required to make payments upfront. In addition to that, customers also won't have to pay for maintenance and insurance charges. Nonetheless, it must be noted that the lease will be available for at least two years and may be extended to a maximum tenure of five years, depending on the vehicle selected.
