New Delhi: Hyundai the Korean auto major today said that “it is increasing production capacity for sports utility vehicle Creta by 30 per cent to 13,000 units per month to reduce waiting period on the car.”
Y K Koo,the managing director & CEO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd said, "To reduce the waiting period, we are increasing CRETA production by 30% to total production of 13,000 units of which 10,000 units will be allocated for the domestic market."
The Hyundai Creta hatched good response in the overseas market including Latin America’s Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru & Panama , Middle East ‘s Oman, UAE, Saudi and Africa Egypt, Morocco & Nigeria with more than 28,000 orders.
Sum up, the vehicles has received 500,000 enquires and 100,000 bookings only within 8 months of lunch.
