Lucknow: Police have started questioning the criminals who killed Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf in police custody. In order to get the secret out of the three murderers, the police interrogated them psychologically for the first 8 hours. Separately, news was collected from the three murderers (Lovelesh, Sunny, and Arun) about their lives, families, habits, and hobbies. During interrogation, Lavlesh Tiwari declared himself a staunch Hinduist and a descendant of Parshuram. Lovelesh was also trying to make himself famous through social media. Among the three murderers, Sunny Singh appeared more criminal and ambitious. The three criminals stuck to their own theories for the first night.

Lavlesh Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Arun kept repeating the point of earning money and fame by killing Mafia leader Atiq Ahmed. Shooter Sunny Singh reiterated that I have no mentor; I am a don myself. Arun confessed that a friend of Panipat had given him the weapon. Police asked Arun Maurya, Which friend gave you a dangerous and expensive pistol like Jigana? Answering this question, Arun said that I did not know that this was such an expensive pistol; I was considering it as a good weapon from which no one would be spared. At the same time, Sunny Singh has accepted contact with Sundar Bhati due to interrogation. He had come into contact with Sundar Bhati due to his imprisonment in Hamirpur Jail, but they never got back in touch after changing jails. Atiq and his brother Ashraf were gunned down in Prayagraj on Saturday night. Arun Maurya was in police custody for the incident; Sunny and Lavlesh Tiwari had executed it. All three reached the police convoy posing as journalists, and as soon as Atiq and his brother Ashraf started discussing with the media, all three opened fire.

Due to this, about 18 rounds of bullets were fired, of which 8 hit Atiq Ahmed. Both died on the spot. All three criminals surrendered immediately after the murder. Sunny Hamirpur, Arun alias Kalia Kasganj, and Lavlesh Tiwari are residents of Banda district and are involved in the Atiq murder case. Lavlesh Tiwari is a resident of Kyotra in Banda. There are four police cases against Lovelesh. He has gone to jail for slapping the girl. Sunny Singh is a resident of Kurara town in Hamirpur district. He is a history sheeter at Kurara police station, whose history sheet number is 281A. There are about 15 cases registered against him.
