Actor Shahid Kapoor had a great year because this year as he has given a superhit film like 'Kabir Singh'. After 'Kabir Singh', Shahid will once again appear in a remake of a South film titled 'Jersey'. Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the role of a cricketer in the film.

The film has the story of a cricketer who is struggling to get selected in the Indian cricket team after the age of 30. Talking about the film, Shahid said, 'I feel very attached to this story because I used to think that I should do something else because none of my films were playing. There comes a time in everyone's life when he thinks why is it not happening to me? Have I made a mistake? ' Shahid said that after that he focused on his work without worrying about success.

He said, 'I wanted to do an original film so that people would not think that I only remake. But when I saw the jersey, it touched my heart. I cried 4 times seeing this. Its character is not like Kabir Singh. He is quiet and speaks little but has a lot of depth. ' Shahid is currently training for this film. Its shooting will start soon in Chandigarh.
