New Delhi: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal seems flustered after being summoned by the CBI in the Delhi liquor scam case. Today, Saturday, April 15, 2023, he held a press conference, claiming that no liquor scam has taken place. The CBI and ED have not found anything. He said that if Kejriwal is corrupt, then there is no one left honest in the whole world. He has also threatened that he will file a case against ED and the CBI.

Kerjiwal said, "CBI has called me; I will definitely go. If the BJP people have ordered the CBI to arrest me, then they will definitely arrest me." Kejriwal said that the ED and CBI have given false statements in court. The liquor scam case is nothing. Cases have been made on the basis of lies. The agencies do not have proof of even a rupee scam. He alleged that the agencies had forced the names of Kejriwal and Sisodia to confess by beating and threatening the witnesses.

Arvind Kejriwal, shaken after receiving the summons from the CBI, took a jibe at the agencies and said, "I said in the press conference that I had given Rs 1,000 crore to PM Narendra Modi at 7 p.m. on September 17. If action can be taken only by making allegations, then arrest Narendra Modi. Evidence is needed for action, isn't it? Or will action be taken like this? The Delhi CM said that the new liquor policy brought in by the AAP government was a good policy that would have ended the entire corruption in the liquor business. Kejriwal said that the ED and CBI say that a bribe of 100 crores was taken, but despite 400 raids, the agencies did not get the money. He said that the day I spoke on corruption in the Delhi Assembly, I knew that now my number had come. However, during this, Kejriwal did not explain why, if his liquor policy was so good, it was withdrawn as soon as the inquiry was ordered.
