Along with this it was said that, 'that person will be entitled to this award, who will have made a splendid and exemplary contribution to the country and its people. Under this, this award was given to PM Modi. Let us tell you that PM Modi had decided to donate the money received from this award to a charity. Yes and the trust gave this information that the amount of one lakh given by him for charity has been decided to be given to the PM Care Fund. On the other hand, Hridaynath Mangeshkar said in a tweet on May 26 that he has received a letter from PM Modi. In fact, PM Modi wrote in this letter- 'I can never forget the affection I got during the award ceremony in Mumbai last month. I regret that I could not meet you due to ill health, but Adinath managed the program well.
With this, he further wrote, 'When I got up to receive this award and give my statement, then many emotions surrounded me. I remember the most of Lata didi. When I was receiving the award, I realized that this time I have become poor with one Rakhi. I realized that I will no longer get phone calls asking about my health, asking about my well being and also discussing various topics.
Apart from this, he further wrote in his letter that, 'I have received a cash amount of Rs 1 lakh with this award, can I request to donate it to any charitable institution for their work? This amount can be used to bring about a positive change in the lives of others, which Lata didi always wanted to do. At the same time, he wrote in the end - 'I once again express my gratitude to the Mangeshkar family and pay tribute to Lata didi.'
