While there she said, "My passion has always been dance, and Malayali has made my identity synonymous with dance. Explaining further, "Take the case of Tamil remake of Joseph, the role I am doing is performance-driven, and if I can do it in Tamil, then why can't I do it in Malayalam? I can't find the answer. I have been told because I have done so many stage shows, and also that I do not have a normal Malayali look."

She further said, "When I look back, it seems like thanks to the support of my parents. Especially my mother, that I have achieved everything.
