Bhopal: These days, obscene CDs are being fiercely discussed in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. It has become the main issue of the fight between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress. Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh has claimed that he has obscene CDs of BJP and RSS leaders. He asked BJP state president VD Sharma to come to his house and watch the CD and take a copy if he wants. At the same time, BJP has challenged Congress to make the CD public.
Govind Singh said, 'I have a CD. If VD Sharma comes to my house, I will welcome him with flowers and garlands. I will show him the CD but will not release it. If he wants a copy of it, he can take it.' Speaking to the media in Jabalpur, Sharma said, "It is very unfortunate that a responsible leader makes such a claim. Dr. Govind Singh is the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, he holds a constitutional post. He should talk thoughtfully. It's not a game that you come to my house and watch. No responsible person should accuse a person of moral character. In Congress, they can make such petty allegations but not in BJP. I condemn what he said. If he really has what he claims, release it in front of the people.''
On Wednesday, amid the controversy, the Leader of the Opposition met Home Minister Narottam Mishra at his residence. Later, the Home Minister said, "Dr. Govind Singh is my friend. If he keeps the CD with him for a long time, it will get corrupt. He should release it. However, he should not keep this type of CD at this age.''
