Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to show their romantic side with comedy in the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. It shows the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair, and the colorful journey of love left the fans in excitement. Ranbir Kapoor is busy in the promotion of his film. During the promotional event Ranbir Kapoor opens up about the current Boycott trends as this year films like Rakshabandhan, Pathaan , Brahmastra , Laal Singh Chaddha and many other called for Boycott. These trends even affected the Box office earning of some of the films.

Ranbir speaking about the current Boycott trends and said, "Main kuch nahi kahunga. All these things, boycott Bollywood...there were so many negative things that were coming post the pandemic and I really found them baseless. Films are made for entertainment purposes, we are not saving the world. We are just making films for the audience. They can forget their worries, they come to see a film on the big screen and have a really good time at the cinema. I didn't understand this whole boycott thing because nobody is doing anything wrong, everybody is trying to be the best version of themselves and provide entertainment, that's what we are here for and nothing else."

Speaking about the film, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' brings along Ranbir & Shraddha together for the first time. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. It is all set to have a festive release worldwide in cinemas on Holi, 8th March 2023.
