New Delhi: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an alert over the possibility of a terror attack on January 26. Information in this regard has been shared with Delhi Police in nine pages. The alert said that at the behest of the ISI, several organisations, including the Khalistan Liberation Force, are in the fray to target India's top leaders.
Intelligence inputs also said that the terror group Khalistan Liberation Force has also formed a new alliance with Islamic terror outfits operating across the border to carry out major terror attacks. According to IB alerts, terrorists can vandalise and attack crowded places. It has also been said that terrorists can also attack with drones.
The alert said the new alliance of terrorists may include the Khalistan Liberation Force as well as the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, Resistance Force Jaish-e-Mohammed, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Hizbul Mujahideen. The alert said the Pakistan-based Khalistani Group has activated its members so that they can attack Punjab and other states. They can also target major hideouts and establishments in Delhi.
